2024 Wing Conference, Banquet and Change of Command

Register today for the 2024 Kentucky Wing Conference, Awards Banquet, and Change of Command Ceremony.

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES MARCH 6, 2024. No walk in registrations allowed.

Friday: 1900-2000 Welcome and early check in at the Saber and Quill Conference Center.

2000-2200 Adult social at Fiddlers Green inside the Saber and Quill. Food and drinks available.

2000-2200 Cadet Activity. Cadets taken to Houston Bowling Center on Fort Knox for bowling (pizza, and drinks included). Registration required. Bring extra cash for arcade games and additional food available for purchase at on site café. Transportation via CAP vehicles and drivers.

Friday UOD - Civilian Attire

Saturday: 0730-1610 Conference with Breakout Sessions, a buffet lunch, and Godman Army Airfield Tour. Transportation via CAP vehicles and drivers.

Conference Attire - AF Blues with or without jacket, Corporate Uniform, Polo

1830-2130 Banquet and Change of Command Ceremony.

Banquet Attire - Mess Dress, Service Dress or Civilian Formal Equivalent

**Note** All activities will occur on Fort Knox. Hotel information: Reservation deadline for hotel rooms is March 8, 2024. Please use Booking Code "CAP" or tell them you are booking one of the block rooms for "Civil Air Patrol Kentucky Conference. Call 502-943-1000 ext 1 to make reservations. There are a limited number of rooms available. If they tell you all the rooms are booked, please be sure you are giving them the information above. All hotel rooms on base must have an adult present.

Keynote Speaker Information: We are pleased to announce our Keynote Speaker for the 2024 Banquet is Brigadier General Amanda I. Azubuike, Deputy Commanding General, United States Army Cadet Command. BG Azubuike received her commission from the University of Central Arkansas in December 1993, earning a bachelor’s degree in Communications. She began her career as a UH-1 pilot and went on to experience career success in both intelligence and public affairs. She later received a Master of Professional Studies in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University. We are looking forward to hearing her insights and perspective on servant leadership based on a life full of personal and professional experience. If you would like to read more about BG Azubuike's impressive career, please visit https://armyrotc.army.mil/deputy-commanding-general.
